At Enclave Vision Associates, we truly care about the health of your eyes.
Comprehensive eye health and vision exam
Healthy vision is more than just seeing 20/20. At Enclave Vision Associates, your eye exam includes a visual assessment and an eyeglass or contact lens prescription (if necessary), binocular vision testing (eye teaming), external health assessment, eye pressure check and internal health assessment with dilation. Your eye doctor will take the time to explain the findings of your exam and will recommend additional testing, if needed. A thorough eye exam may detect conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, and damage to the retina caused by high blood pressure and diabetes.
Ocular Allergies and Dry Eyes
Do you routinely use products such as Visine and Clear Eyes and still suffer from dry, irritated eyes? Ask our optometrists about relief from dry eyes and ocular allergies.
Vision plays an important role in a child’s early development and education. One in four children needs vision correction, but some vision problems go undetected at pediatrician and school screenings. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends that all children have a complete vision and eye health examination at the age of 6 months, 3 years, upon entering kindergarten, and routine vision care (every 2 years) thereafter throughout their school years. Both Dr. Hengst and Dr. Montgomery participate in InfantSEE, a program sponsored by the AOA that provides an eye exam at no charge to infants ages 6 to 12 months.
Enclave Vision accepts many medical and vision insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United HealthCare, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, VSP, EyeMed, and more. Please call our office if you have any questions about your insurance benefits.
